How to play 2048
2048 is a simple but addictive number-merging puzzle. The board is a 4×4 grid; every move slides all tiles in one direction, and when two tiles of the same value collide they merge into their sum. After each move, a new 2 or 4 appears at random.
Build a tile worth 2048 to win — though you can keep going for 4096, 8192 and beyond. The game ends when the board fills up and no merges remain.
Controls

Tips for a higher score
- Anchor a corner. Pick one corner as the home of your biggest tile and try never to move it away.

- Plan ahead. Sometimes keeping an empty cell matters more than an immediate merge.
