Mana is flow, not stock

Element Summoner inverts the usual resource mindset: mana (MP) auto-regens +2 every 1.4s, capped at 20. Each fire or water summon costs 3 MP and places an element on the 3×3 field. Placed elements have roughly a 55% chance each cycle to resolve, clearing and adding +25 power. Reach 250 power to win. MP is a continuously arriving flow; hoarding it past the cap is pure waste — the goal isn't to store it but to keep converting it into elements on the field.

Throughput management on a 9-cell field

The field holds only 9 cells; summoning fails when full. Elements clear randomly at ~55%, making this a balance of injection speed vs clear speed. Inject too fast and the field jams while MP overflows; inject too slow and you fall behind regen. The sweet spot keeps the field around half-full and flowing — neither clogged nor idle. Fire and water are mechanically identical, so which you pick doesn't matter; rhythm is everything.

Spend every point of regen

  • When MP nears the cap of 20, summon — overflowing regen is lost outright.
  • When the field is nearly full, pause briefly to let clears free up cells, avoiding wasted failed summons.
  • Don't agonize over fire vs water; they pay the same. A steady summoning cadence matters far more than element choice.
